Open the file Generic_F1.gen found in SeasonData\Vehicles(Notepad will
work) and delete this section:

 Instance=ARMS
  {
    Moveable=True
<SPIN>       MeshFile=<8>DriverArms.MTS CollTarget=False HATTarget=False
LODIn=(0.0) LODOut=(100.0)
<LOW>        MeshFile=<8>DriverArms.MTS CollTarget=False HATTarget=False
LODIn=(0.0) LODOut=(10.0)
<MED>        MeshFile=<8>DriverArms.MTS CollTarget=False HATTarget=False
LODIn=(0.0) LODOut=(12.0)
<HIGH>       MeshFile=<8>DriverArms.MTS CollTarget=False HATTarget=False
LODIn=(0.0) LODOut=(15.0)
<MAX>        MeshFile=<8>DriverArms.MTS CollTarget=False HATTarget=False
LODIn=(0.0) LODOut=(20.0)
    AnimFile=catsteer.ANM
  }

then save the file.

Or, for something really bizzare, change true to false.

I deleted the arms, but since then the game's been locking up, requiring a
reset button.

Has anyone else had this trouble after deleting their arms? ;-)
