Momo Force + GP4???

by Dan » Mon, 27 Jan 2003 08:12:35

Just installed a Momo Force wheel and cannot get the FF to work with
GP4. I can not find any way to even test if the FF is even working on
the wheel, like I could with my old MS Sidewinder in Win98. Are the
green lights suppossed to come on when FF is active? They flash on once
when the game is loading and then stay off. Throttle, brake & steering
work fine, just no FF.  The system is a P4 2.0 with 512meg of memory and
a GF3 Ti500 video card.
Thanx
Dan

Hi Dan,

The right hand green LED on the MOMO Force indicates that force feedback is
activated and the left hand LED is to indicate that the power supply is
connected and turned on.

Russell

Is there a switch to supply power? There is no power brick like my MS SW
had, only the USB connector. The USB connector is pluged in, but I have
no power light. Maybe a bad wheel? I guess I will exchange it for
another tomorrow.

Hi Dan,

Yes, there is a power supply that plugs into the mains socket and the output
plugs into the pedal base just next to where the other cable comes out.

The power supply was in a small white box at the bottom of the main MOMO
box.

Regards

Russell
