Does anyone play this game with intel 740 graphics, but not in software
mode?

It will only work in software mode with the i740 as standard out of the
box.  You could try the beta OpenGL patch from www.papy.com, but this
has only been tested by Papy on a RivaTNT card.

I tried GPL on a i740 clone-board (by A-Trend), 8 meg, etc., with the OpenGL
patch.  It worked...a bit.  In the end, I decided to spend the money for a
dedicated 3d card (3dfx).  You just need to decide whether the extra
graphics are worth the extra money!

I tried it with a Diamond G460 and the open gl patch, and it sort of worked,
but had lock-ups etc. Just install the patch and try your luck!
