Yesterday I have called the 1-800 number of SH-MP. They do NOT take
pre-orders for GP2 yet. The recording also told me that they take orders only
2 weeks prior to the release of ANY game. It also told me that GP2 is slated
for the summer.

My conclusion: since June 28th is only a week away and since they don't
take orders on it yet, GP2 will not be out on the streets on June 28th.

Either that, or their recording is just as outdated as their website...

Take it for what it's worth.

The release date in South Africa is end of June. If this is accurate, then
everywhere else in the world should get it before end of June too.

I just check Electronics Boutique's web site and as of today they have
the North America release date of GP2 as July 23rd.

i ordered my copy several months ago also, but i called to "verify" the order
still existed.  It did, although they (SH/MPS) are not taking anymore
pre-orders at this time.  they also said it would be relased in the "summer."
this as of june 20.  I guess i'll just keep waiting.......
