A couple of months ago I downloaded that early gp2 video file from some website or
other, you know the one where the commentator does a real 'advertising' number.
I thought wow that looks like a pretty good game, and I was fairly impressed.
Well, I have just seen the .avi file on this months PCGamer (uk) and I am speechless.
Hills car bouncing around in the air, sliding and struggling in the sand traps,
noise of the other cars, and the wing mirror effects, everything about the file
really...I've never seen anything like it in a racing sim before. I don't care how long
Crammond takes with this game, if he's made these changes in the time between those two
files, then he can take another year as far as I'm concerned. The man is very obviously
doing an awesome job.
