Has anyone tried one the hand held steering wheels, I think it was called
Ultraracer.  I've been busy and haven't kept up with the group so if this
has been discussed sorry.

A friend of mine bought one and I tried it out with NASCAR 2.  It
works quite well, I was impressed.  The only problem is it really
requires two hands to use and leaves it difficult to hit the F keys
when you need to.

Hand held steering wheel

I got one when my knee was bad and could not use my pedals.
It works good but the wheel is a little notchy in the center and only turns
about 45 deg. from center. The throttle /brake control return spring is
a little heavy and can be *** your finger after long use. Shifting takes
a
bit of practice so I used automatic shifting. If you cant afford a wheel or
dont
have the desk space then its better than using a keyboard or joystick I
think.
