T2 and Electronic Cleaner

Well here's a new one I think.... I was racing last night when my gas pedal
spring broke, so I took it all apart and devised up a little system where I
could use a pull type spring (which works fine at the moment). But I also
gave all the pot's a shot of some electrical cleaner both pedals and wheel.
So now when I go into Nascar1, Nascar2, or Windows it doesn't see the
joystick as being connected. But the gear shifter and all the side buttons
work.....Any ideas??? Are the pots that sensitive to the cleaner. I know
you can wear them out but burn them out??

It sounds as if you might have a broken wire or bad connection in your
pedal unit.  This may have happenened when you took it apart or put it
back together.  Can you disconnect the pedal unit from the steering unit
and check and see if Windows or Nascar will see the joystick?  If so, It
really sounds like a bad or shorted connection in your pedal unit.
