Question for NCR2 (Adam, please read)

I got a question. I'm sure many of you d/l'd the NCR2 demo and were
disappointed when you couldn't play either because you didn't have enough
ram or your processor wasn't fast enough. I was lucky enough to find this
out before I downloaded it. But I'm wondering if the full version of NCR2
will have a VGA option and will it run on 8MB and possibly a 486
Processer. I have a pentium, but it only possesses 8MB of RAM. If not, how
much will it cost to purchase 8MB more of RAM?

I don't know about the specifics of the game, but go out right now and get
more RAM.  Prices are the cheapest they have been in a long time.
Currently 8 MEG SIMMS are going for about $40 each.  For Pentiums, you have
to add SIMMS in identical pairs (you probably have 2 4meg SIMMS installed
now), so why not pick up a pair?  Spending $80 on 16 megs of RAM (for a
total of 24megs) will be one of the best investments you can make.  Win95
really flys with increased RAM.

I had two 8 meg sims for 16 total. I was whinning about having a choice
of adding a pair of 2's,4's,or 16's. but not 8's.  So I bought a pair of
16's.  Win95 no longer crashes 10 times per day and I run all apps I use
simultaneously and the HD light never comes on!

Happiness is 48 megs of RAM !!

If you have to spend a Sunday afternoon picking up aluminum cans to save
for the RAM, do it.

Why would you buy RAM from Best Buy?  With the current market for RAM,
prices change almost daily.  The only way to buy and know you are getting a
good price is through mail order.  Try the Street Price Search Engine
(http://www.pricewatch.com).  It will find the best advertised prices for
various computer products.  Like I said, the best price I saw was about $40
(actually it was $37 something) for 8meg SIMMs.
