Anouncing NEW GP2 utility !

by D.Mander » Tue, 10 Sep 1996 04:00:00

It's comming very soon. What is it ? It's "GP2 Carset Manager", an easy utility to switch between
different carsets for GP2. It's not as easy as Indycar Racing II's build in Carset Manager, but
it's sure much easier than copying the proper files each time you want to change the carset.

features: -Automaticly changes all files needed for different cars/drivers.
           -Change easy between different carsets.
-Automaticly backs up the original GP2 carset.
-Unlimited number of carsets can be managed.
-Commandline driven but VERY easy to use !

WHEN ???  The first beta version (0.9?) is almost finished and will be available later this month.

Questions, reactions ? Please E-mail me......

When you talk about "managing" carsets, does that mean one will not have
to delete or swap .jam files and such from the correct directory in order
to switch back and forth among different carsets?  And if so, would it
automatically load the correct name file to go with each individual carset?
