I am disapointed

I have just gotten my Micron p200 w/32 megs of ram and I still can't run
gp2 with some detail off but at 25 fps.  It is a little disapointing.  Is
there anything i could do to increase the frame rate?  I have a diamond
stealth 3d card w/4 megs on vdo ram.

Oops, didn't see this post before I posted on the same subject (A
Qestion Of Frame Rate).  Hope we get some answers Marc.  :-)

I think you'll need to get a Pentium Pro if you want do do that. By
the way try different tracks...you'll find that you can run more
detail on some than others. Monaco is probably the worse in terms of
detail...if you run with a lot of detail here you'll proabaly
throw-up! I have to set up each track differently. I sent posted
another reply re: fram rate, take a look at my comments there! oh...I
wish I had a p200!!

Nope, computers simply aren't fast enough nowadays compared to their
software. You can go all the way upto the latest PPro 200, and you still
won't get any more frames/second.

You're best solution is to wait for Windows 95-based versions of the games
to appear, because then they will be using the DirectX API for Windows.
With DirectX, game designers can ignore specifics of video card designs and
just program for an API that will deliver the performance through the 3D
video accelerators.
