Any luck using LWFF/F12K on Win2000?

I get absolutely no resistance through my wheel in Win2K.  Not even the
tension that is present when you turn FF off in Win98.  Anyone get this
to work? I've only tried running F12K in this OS, so it's the only
evidence I can point to...
