NASCAR:problems with bad CD disk?

by tinma » Mon, 26 Dec 1994 09:11:24

I just purchased NASCAR and the disk would not work in my drive. All my
other CDs both audio and CD ROM still work fine.  When I put in the
NASCAR CD my drive runs for a long time then I get a drive not ready
message.  It wont even play the two songs that are on the CD.  Computer
City swapped it for a new one but it dose the same thing.

Has anyone besides my had this problem, are there bad CDs out or is it
my drive.

please help:  tinman1

Have you tried disabling smartdrv cache for the CD-Rom drive?  If not,
I have seen lots of problems with CD-Rom & Smartdrv.

Another problem might be too litle conventional memory.
