Nascar on CD vs disks

I have the oppurtunity to buy a copy of Nascar used on CD for a good
price, the only problem is that I am going to wait a few month's before
getting a CD-Rom.
Does anyone know if the two versions are different, and can one make disks
from the CD and then load it that way? I have access to a CD-Rom, so that
won't be a problem.  Thanks!

Get the CD-ROOM.  It contains the SVGA version also, which is not available on
the floppy disk version.

The CD version of NASCAR contains all necessary files to run in
SVGA mode; the diskette version doesn't...

The two versions are indeed different!  The diskette version
contains only the VGA version of the sim while the CD-ROM contains
both VGA and SVGA.

I'm not 100% sure about making disks from the CD (I don't think
there is a specific utility included to create a disk set).
However there is a utility that permits you to do a hard disk
install from the CD, and from there it is only a matter of copying
the files from the HD to diskettes and restoring on another
machine.

it is possible (if you had enough disks). in a fit of rage (after my
great replay was wiped along with my own paint scheme, oh and all the
game) i didnt want to re-install using install from the CD because the cd
still as to be within the drive in order for the game to work,( because it uses the sound
off the cd.) so basical i xcopy'ed the cd onto my hard drive. It now
works better than ever. oh the reason i said if you have enough disks is
because it take 10+ meg of disk space.
