I can not get the SCGT cheats to work. What am I doing wrong? Like to get

  you must be on a career screen.
so pick a driver and start a career...
then just type the following
isi-cheeseman

  you should see a box on the upper left of the screen saying
cheat mode enabled.  if you see that then type
isi-tbone
then
isi-aardvark
you don't have to hit enter, & no caps.  should haveaccess to all the cars
and tracks and piles of cash...
