As many of you know we are tracking N3, Trucks and Legends stats at
www.raceserver.net .

In less than a week we have over 2100 entries.  I raced quite a bit over
this past weekend and can say that I had a lot of fun.  Say what you want,
but when you have a goal to shoot for, it brings an entirely new level of
e***ment into the mix.  Wonder if we should start taking bets when we
reach 3,000?

Truck racing seemed to be the "hot" item this weekend.

On the stat front, it looks as if setting up ranked based races might be a
reality and that once we move our system to an entirely dedicated server
that things will even look better.

For all those people who send in thank you notes, we at www.raceserver.net
appreciate the kind words and only hope to continue to make things more
interesting and fun to play.

Heheheh, kind of on that train of thought.  We are going to start a
tournament style system each week.  Where we would follow the WC schedule
and have each person have a seperate ranking each week and start with a rank
of 0.  Each person would earn/loose points during the week at that
particular track each time they run a race.  At the end of the week we would
have the top 50 or 100 or whatever participate in a elimination series.  It
should be very interesting and give everyone more to shoot for each week.
Should be fun and interesting.
