I think Indycar would be even more fun with the 94 car information.
I have enough trouble learning car colors for the new 94 season (when
watching races) let alone having to remember the 93 colors (when driving
Indycar).

The last time I asked them about this I was told by Jane that they did
not have plans to release a 94 drivers file at this time.  It took a
chance and asked if they could help me do one.  Of course she said they
could not release that sort of information.

The subdirectory is easy what is hard is the files to go with it that
describe the cars, chassis, etc.

Here's the 'readme.txt' from indy94.zip:

INDY94 DRIVERS AND CAR UPDATE V1.1  (Updated 4/23/94)

Update Indycar Racing by Papyrus to show the 1994 drivers. Drivers have been placed in their correct sponsors cars, except for new sponsors not supported in the original IndyCar Racing simulation, in which case drivers have been placed in a car similar to their '94 car. Driver performances have also been updated through the '94 running of the Long Beach Grand Prix.

WARNING - THESE FILES ARE NOT SUPPORTED BY PAPYRUS PUBLISHING. Do not call them for assistance.

These files should be included in INDY94.ZIP:

     CARS94.DAT
     DRIVERS.TXT
     README.TXT

HOW TO INSTALL INDY94 FILES:

Go to the INDYCAR\CARS directory

    (EX: CD C:\INDYCAR\CARS)

Make a new directory called CARS94

    (EX: MD CARS94)

Copy the files CARS94.DAT and DRIVERS.TXT to the new CARS94 directory. Now when you load Indycar Racing you will have a new option available from the main options screen called CAR SETS. Select the car set you wish to use by highlighting it and pressing ENTER.      

These files may be freely distributed to registered IndyCar Racing owners, so long as the above files are contained in INDY94.ZIP.
