Although F1GP (the original mps game) is a bit old it is the only F1 sim I
can get on my machine. My PC contracted a virus that wiped the original
game files. On attempting to re-install the software I found that the index
file needed to install the game from the floppies was missing! The index
file basically tells the install program what files to extract from the
archives. I need someone who has a copy of this index file to E-mail it to
me. I only need the index file, all others appear to be intact. The index
file is from the 3.25"/1.44MB disk installation and there are three disks
used in the installation. The index file should be called "mpslabs.idx" or
something similar. I believe that it was v1.05 or v1.1 that I have too.
Please forward the index file to my address below, not to the newsgroup or
I may not find it. TIA.
