This seems odd. Is this through the WinVroc program ? You should fine
a bunch of friendly Aussies there mid-evenings most nights.

I joined a race a few weeks ago after practicing for months (I didn't
want to join a race and spend most of the race obstructing other
drivers). The Canberra server was the obvious choice, and the track
was Rouen.
Within my 1st lap, I was getting something like BPO from nearly every
other driver.. (can't remember exactly what the acronym was). So I
escaped and asked what it was. The cleanest response was, Pit Out and
get off the server!
I wouldn't be offended if I had been purposely taking people off the
track, but I hadn't even completed a lap.. I could only put it down to
my connection causing others to warp, but I would have appreciated
being told nicely.
Cheers,
Rod.

Are you sure what you was seeing wasn't: "PO" ??
As bad as that looks, it simply means: "Pit Out" which is to say that
everyone uses the two letters "PO" when they are leaving the pits, to
let any cars approaching from behind that a car is leaving the pits, so
they should be cautious and watch for the slow moving car leaving the
pits..
I am almost 100% sure that was what you were seeing and mistook it fo
***Off.. <G>
As Phillip said, drop into VROC any night after 7:00pm Ozzie time and
you will find a decent bunch of hoons there to practice with.

You may well be right, perhaps they were cheezed that they had to stop
racing to explain to me what it was.. ;)
I think I'm going to wait till I get cable before I try online racing
again, I'm hoping to get Bigpond in here as multiplaying through my
ISP is atrocious, it's a miracle if I see under 800ms to anywhere
decent.
Thanks for the heads up.
Cheers,
Rod.
