There is no better way to answer that question.  "Was it legal?"  "Does it
matter?"

I'm not sure what to do Olav...  there's been some talk about some of the
guys going down there... but nothing certain yet...

The race/field  look pretty boring this year so I'm not sure if it's worth
the trip...  Bentley look so set to win - as their the only ones with a
budget big enough for the task.... but then again anything can happpen
(remember how things went for Toyota, Nissan and Merc. :-)

You got any plans to go?

What about the Crossley's - heard anything from them?

I've lost their mail-addresses and have not been able to get in touch with
them for ages... :o(

I have the intentions, and had slight communications with Doc about
it. But of course, if you're not going, I have to reconsider doing the
bus thing and rather fly there. After last years washout, Doc is set
to return better than ever, so I think it's a bad idea to miss it. I
think Matt is going too ?

Holy shit, someone needs to give the man a ride!!!!

How much seat time has he had with hand controls?  And is the car modded in
any way other than for the controls?

I tell ya...race drivers NEVER retire.  They always find a way back into the
***pit.

   He did about 40 laps earlier in the week.  They SAID the car was a
perfectly legal 2003 spec ride but it never went through tech inspection.  
So who knows....

I talked to Matt at Rudskogen on Sunday (1st round to the Nordic Thunder
Series) and he told me he wasn't keen to go at all..  Unless i'm mistaken,
we're close to a month away from the event itself.. and when nothings been
"set in stone"  by now - i seriously doubt we'll go.
