GP2: linking 2 computers

I've got a new computer coming shortly and am thinking of linking them together
with a null modem cable. Is there a way I can run GP2, with one person on each
computer, with only 1 GP2 cd disc? Or do I need another copy of GP2? Thanks.

Legally you require two licensed copies, ie two genuine CDs.  However
there are patches available to allow you to run without the CD (purely
to save the effort of ensuring it's in the drive you understand).

D/l the "nocdrom.zip" file from any of the gp2 web sites, you can then
play gp2 without the cd in the drive.

Peter,

1 disc is sufficient. You will need to swap the CD from one machine to
another a couple of times when initialising the race (it will prompt you
when each machine needs the disc).
