GP2 : my car brakes by itself!

Hi All!

I have a strange problem with GP2 : like the subject says, my car
brakes by itself at some points on the track.  I was beginning a new
season, so I notice this problem at Brazil and Aida.  Of course, I'm
not playing with auto-brakes! :-)

This season is with a F3000 carset and the BHP values are really low
to reflect the slower speed of those cars.

Suggestions, anyone?  Thanks!

If you mean the help we get with the F1 key, I'm not using it.  If you
mean something else, please tell me in which menu I can find it.

Thanks,
Eric

Does the belly of the car touches the tarmac?

Perhaps the braking help option is checked in the GP2Edit program if you
are using that. I think that program can put driving aids such as
braking help on or off.

No, the car is high enough...  I have this problem even with the
default setup.

Could this be a sterring wheel problem?  I recalibrated my TM GP1
wheel and I noticed that the red dot (calibration screen) is not
moving very far for acceleration and braking.  Is the wheel sick?

I have a similar problem with GP2. I don't drive it much anymore, but when I
do, I must re-calibrate my GP1. It will never calibrate the first time, I must
close down the program and then restart it and go back to the calibration
screen. It will almost always work the second time although on one occasion I
had to reboot win95 to get past the calibration screen.

The controller works perfect in all other sims, F1RS, TOCA, ICR2, etc.
