I have the original Logitech FF wheel. The pots on the wheel are finally
going. Are they replaceable? Can they be cleaned? What can I do? Logitech is
not selling it any more.

Help.

thanks

Email him and ask him about his pot replacement for the LWFF.  I got it
recently, and its like a new wheel... but better.

Thank you both for the kind words.

I have been supplying replacement steering pots for some time now but
that together with pedal sales and trying to develope a replacement for
the cable sets and sorting replacement paddle switches on the Logi,
together with a new Job has left me too little time to think about
getting my web site updated to include the steering pot kit. Here is a
link to a photo of the pot.

These are Mil spec pots, exactly the same as used on one of the UK
fighter bombers!

Fitting takes under an hour and you need no special tools, just a hot
glue gun and a philips screwdriver.

Its catch 22 for me as if I were to update the site I would get more
orders, but its hard to find the time now to fill orders and do
developement work on new items too. My wife and kids like to see me
sometimes and I have had to cut right back on my own racing in the last
few weeks<S> I just placed an order for multiple BBearing kits with Jens
on behalf of some guys in the UK who wanted kits as its cheaper for one
to do the money transfer and split the charges amongst many. That again
has taken more time than I thought it would.

I will take a deep breath and try to get something sorted on updating
the site very soon.

Just email me if your interested in Steering pot kits.

Cheers.

MikeT.
