My 486DX will allow me to use GP2 in SVGA but slowly.

My new system, a Cyrix 6x86 P150+ at 120Mhz with 16Mb of RAM and a Cirrus
Logic 5434 1Mb SVGA card will not.   It displays the menu screens OK, but
as soon as a select a track to drive in SVGA it crashes when the
simulation view appears.    

Any help, sympathy or suggestions would be delightfully received.
