What about GT3? It is clealy both a great game and a great driving
simulation, but plenty of people in the sim community don't seem to
want to give it a chance (because of a strange bias against a
particular hardware platform? Very strange!).

Yes, it's very strange for members of r.a.s. to have a bias against any sim.

Yes I do. It's it's fans that are a little annoying. They seem to have PMS
the entire month.

Bah, it's just normal.  Everybody has bias against something in life.  You
don't tell us anything we don't know here.

Well if you "do" like it, then you are a fan no?  Therefore, you are also
annoying.

A fan? Yes.

Do I want to make sweet love to it down by the fire? No.

Gotta agree with MrLipid on this one -- SoS ain't GPL, but it IS (or
can be) fun.  As a vehicle sim, it may come up short, but it's the
best thing we have for simulating historic racing from the 1930s, and
once you get the steering set up properly, it has a lot of
entertainment value.

I've never tried IRC, but I'd nominate Test Drive 6 as one of the
worst ever -- and "TD6" also refutes the original theory about sims
with three initials.

<SATIRE>

Starsky & Hutch ("S&H") will rule, too, because it will have three
initials AND it will be based on the WSC engine!

Did you tell DGF you had a "thing" for three initials? <g>
