OT: Great Motor Racing Books

In the last couple of months I have read some great motor racing books, I
thought I would share them with you, and wondered if anyone had any more
recommendations:

"Jenks: A Passion for Motorsport" - Dennis Jenkinson
"All Arms and Elbows" - Innes Ireland
"Flat Out, Flat broke" - Perry McCarthy
"Colin Chapman" - Jabby Crombac
"March: The Rise and Fall of a Motor Racing Legend" - Mike Lawrence
"Rob Walker" - Michael Cooper-Evans

All of these books have been superb, but if I had to pick out a favorite it
would be "Jenks", with "All arms and elbows" second.

I would also heavily recommend "Chasing the Title" by Nigel Roebuck, it
contains an excellant account of the 1967 F1 season for all you GPL fans.

They're all good recommendations, I would add my personal favourite:

"Racing the Silver Arrows" - Chris Nixon
Loads of information, stories and photos covering the epic age of motor
racing just before WW2.

yep, the best one so far.  a close 2nd is Graham Hill's "Life at the
Limit".

Brabham's "When the Flag Drops" is pretty good.

i've just finished James Hunt's "Against All Odds".  which includes
the story of the 1976 championship.  maclaren vs. ferrari on the track
and in the fia (or whatever it was called then) offices.  the less
things change, the more they stay the same...

i'd recommend the above 4 books.  all other racing books i've read
(lauda, clark, stewart, foggy and irvine) i found very
dull/boring/repetitive.
