Tried using the .exe file from the game's demo? It worked for me

Right-click the Viper icon, select properties/shortcut change the target
to have -nocanary at the end.
Heres mine:
"F:\SIERRA\Viper Racing\Viper Racing.exe" -nocanary"

I have never found a way, but if you find one, let us know.. :)
It probably would have to do with running the sim in Direct3D
or some other way, as opposed to Glide, but I really don't know..
