I just experienced a freeze on GPL even with IE 5Beta installed. However, it
let me play for a half hour instead of about ten minutes.
Maybe the problem is with IE somewhere.
In IE4 the setting for auto disconnecting can be found under View - Internet
options - Connection tab - Settings - Disconnect if ... [terms may be
slightly different as I translate this from the Dutch version].
Dialup networking also has capability to auto disconnect (via the properties
of the modem used for the connection), so check that out as well.
