FYI,
After intalling the latest 4.11c Logitech WingMan Profiler from
www.wingmanteam.com , I used regedit to rename the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\control\
MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\
VID_046D&PID_C294
to
VID_046D&PID_C294a
I used the registry update file from the last post of the thread at:
http://www.racesimcentral.net/%7Ehg/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=150...
293#post150513
to add a revised VID_046D&PID_C294 key entry.
The Control Panel->Game *** Option recognizes the wheel as a "Logitech
Driving Force for PS2".
However, the Wingman Profiler (4.11.332) does not recognize the wheel. As a
result, the gas/brake pedals are always COMBINED on the y-axis of joystick
1.
Force feedback works on all the PC games/sims that I have installed. The
button mappings are:
Button
ID# Driving Force
=============================
1 = X button
2 = Sqaure button
3 = Triangle button
4 = Circle button
5 = Right spoke top
6 = Left spoke top
7 = Left spoke bottom
8 = Right spoke bottom
Good luck,
Brian
