Is there also a "walking sheepishly away from crash with Michael
Schumacher (Damon style)" camera view as well ;) (Sorry Dave, I
couldn't resist it).

Seriously though, where does your information come from ?

Right, lets get things sorted out!
'94 cars are being used, although there are rumours of a '95 and '96
carset becoming available. Network play isn't supported [apparently]
although there is meant to be a network version coming out. Sandtraps
are there, as are curbs that affect your car realistically. The
collisions still look a bit dodgy, bouncy cars etc. but then, Indycar2
with realistic settings is a bit TOO tricky. It's not known whether
cars touching wheels will flip one car into the air. There is no news
of a Paintkit/Paintshop type of program yet. Tyre wear and heat has not
been mentioned concerning the game. No wheelspin at the start at the
moment. Camera views are-
Chase
Reverse chase
Front wing
Gearbox
***pit
Reverse***pit (Damon style)
Roll bar (Bundell/Barrichello style)
Trackside (which work a lot better than the first game)
Replays will be extended to one lap rather than 20 secs.
It is apparently possible to puncture a tyre, but lock-ups and
flatspotting are unknown. Damage will hopefully be more than the front
and rear wings. Setup is handled much in the same way as real life -
drivers tells mechanic and mechanic sorts it! Fuel stops are included,
although how the strategy is worked out is unknown. Pit stop speed
limits are likely but whether thay are auto-limited or not is unknown.
Weather will play a bigger part, and will change during a race so tyre
strategy is more important. Tracks will feature all 1994 revisions, and
so will be chicane-soaked. The cars are completely texture-mapped with
correct sponsors, but tobacco sponsorship (Rothmans, Mild Seven,
Marlboro) will not be included. The vehicles feature a reflective glint
effect which looks excellent. The frame rate is still a mystery. The
driver's head leans and jolts into the turns and while braking. The
helmets, I think, are texture mapped - unlike the first game where
they were sprites, this means that designs like Damon Hill's are
possible. It will work with the Glint standard used in some 3D
accelerator cards (including Creative Labs' 3D Blaster). The sound will
be improved from the first game. Save games will hopefully still be
possible in mid-race. It is doubtful that cars will be able to drag
dirt onto the track and make it hazardous for other drivers. Red and
black flags are uncertain, as are stop-go penalties. Weather variation
during qualifying and practice is as yet unknown. Driving aids, such
as spin recovery, ideal line etc. are still available, and there are
apparently some more on offer. It will be released under the
Spectrum-Holobyte World Curcuit label and called Grand Prix 2, not
F1GP2 or Formula One 2 etc. In the USA it will be called World Curcuit
2. The release date, unfortunately, is still unknown!

There IS an Eddie Irvine swearing at Tony Jardine cam!

I got the information from reading lots and lots of articles from magazines and on the
internet. If there is anything that is not mentioned here that people wish to know, they
can feel free to mail me. The prob is... I probably won't know the answer!

How about a back in Indycar "What Happened?" view ? (Michael Andretti
style)
