Yeah, me too!  My local software store told me that the release date
was 29 September (apparently this came straight from the horses mouth, or
at least a Microprose sales person).  Mind you, I don't believe it
because:

1. The original F1GP on the Amiga was scheduled to be released during
September, and finally got released the following February, without much
in the way of an explanation from Microprose.
2. Have you seen the screenshots?  Every picture shows a single car in
the middle of the screen, we haven't seen any "in-car" screenshots, or
anything to do with pitstops or from different angles.  This says to me
that at the time of taking the screen shots, the game was a long way from
being completed.  I wonder when the screen shots were done?

Mind you, I'm probably wrong, and if it does come out next month, I'll be
a very happy man :-)

Did he mention anything about the game being a CD-only product?

I heard from a source close to Microprose that the release date would
be October some time (early-mid). The also said that the screen shots
were from develoment work from months back and that the product had
advanced considerably since then.

The GP Manager game will NOT be interoperable with GP2, according
to MPS UK/Europe. The two have nothing except GP racing in common.

When you see it will be released on the 10/2, do you mean
the tenth of February of 1996, or the second of October?

I asked MicroProse (or Spectrum Holobyte-MicroProse as they now like
to be called) about this last week and they say the release date is
not yet fixed. So Software Etc are misinformed.

I doubt a release before November is likely.
