I have a TSW2, had no issues with cailbration. Running XP, TSW is
already configured in  Windows controllers as 4 axis. Launched GTR,
assigned controller functions.. I have the non USB version ie; 15 pin
gameport old school edition, lol

Man........see I have a TSW 2 Stock with the gameport, I've had it since N4.
When I go into GTR I have everything but brakes, it automatically assigns it
to like RZ+ or RZ-.

My BRD gameport Pro Pedals (which are configured as 4 axis in windows) cant
get GTR to recognise the brake pedal either.

What OS are you using Kevin? I only ask as I have a TSW2 Cup, older,
gameport model, that just would not coexist with WinXP Pro worth a darn. Had
to order the USB upgrade kit, and once I got it and installed it, everything
went back to working fine. Calibrates fine, works fine now.

This is really just FYI, I haven't tried GTR and all my experience thus far
with the TSW2 has been in NASCAR Racing titles and GPL.

I didn't know it *was* an issue.  My TSW works fine...

I *used* to see RZ+ or - in games before, but it hasn't done that in a while.
I'm running DX9.0b - maybe you're running a different one?

Currently, GTR sees:

Accel: joy1 y-
brake: joy1 y+
left: joy1 x-
right: joy1 x+
shift up: joy1 b1
shift down: joy1 b2

It found all those from just selecting the desired action and moving the
desired control.  TSW2mod, gameport.

Eldred
p.s. I'm also running win98se.

im on xp pro, my accel is the vertical axis in the first two axis thing in
the controller config, and my brake is one of the rudders.

n2003 can see my brake, but f1c and gtr cant.

Then that may or may not hurt him, but mine wouldn't calibrate properly, and
was jittery/twitchy when it did work, in any sim/game.

USB upgrade fixed it. TEI has some info on gameport/TSW/WinXP issues on
their website the last time I checked, though I'm not sure if that alone
would fix his issue with a demo.

I think that's what he is gonna have to do - that upgrade is worth the money.

I run XP PRo and use the onboard gameport.   I also run SPec pots and am
able to use the Generic driver.

I think the clutch is helping you, due to how it sees the axis.  I run 9.0b
also.
