Does anyone know of any DirectX9 F1 simulators in the pipeline or is Bernie
Ecclestone demanding too much money to buy an F1 licence

Bernie has nothing to do with it. Sony bought the exclusive rights and is
simply keeping it on the PS2 I believe.

nono, ea had an option, but didnt want to take it due to cost and 'lack of
artistic freedom'

ive got the MCV article around here with that news in it.

That makes sense, ISI wanted to update the track models to something that
was accurate but weren't allowed to.
