A friend who designs racing suspensions says he would only be
interested in trying NASCAR racing if there were add-on programs that
let you basically design an engine for it, I mean REALLY design an
engine and put it on a dynamometer, etc.  

I said I thought there wasn't, but that there might be a few people
out there who've got way deep into things and designed an add-on where
you could take a Chev block and play around with it.

Anything like that around, or is that carrying things to excess?

I' love to have a game where you could tweak the engine performance, but
in Nascr all you really have to do is open Drivers.txt and change the
horsepower rating. (g)
