Every night I thank my lucky stars that we have you here to monitor these
people.

I mean if there is one thing this newsgroup needs even more then posts full
of useless information it must surely be someone to make another post to
point them all out.

Keep up the good work.       Over and out.

Hey, thanks.  That's what I'm 'ear for.  :)

I just get tired of these posts that are weeks behind, that's all.

I guess I should lay off and not concern myself with these.

So be it.

Have a Happy New Year,

Alanb

I knew I was afraid to ask :)

Can't be any worse than this Half-Life 2 nonsense.

It led me to the Demo, so it didn't bother me.

But now that I hear it might install hidden copy-protection software on your
system (even the Demo ?) I'm going to pass until I know more about this.

#1, I doubt this is the case.

#2, you must never forget server retention level.  It's different for
everyone.

#3, There's always the "Next" button.

Not a year.....2 weeks. It was news to me, since I've been out of the
loop over the holidays.

Well, the article is 2 weeks old but the "news" is about 6 months old.
Pretty useless info from the OP and the site itself - this post implied
there was a date for the release since everyone knows the rest.
