ETCC 2003 - What a great mod

Have been running it for about an hour and a half, what an awesome mod.
Thanks to all who , with their tireless efforts, brought this to us.
Breathes a new life into F1Challenge for me. I am going to enjoy this for a
while.

On a sidenote, in F1Challenge, can you only take a screenshot by pressing
printscreen, then exiting the sim and pasting into a paint progam - in other
words, only 1 screen shot at a time? Would be nice to have it like Papy's,
where you can save multiple screen shots in a directory..

F12 takes a screenshot I think, dunno what it does with it though.

I just acquired the latest version of the FRAPS demo Don and it takes great
screenshots and video capture is now 1024X768 and you can do benchmarks.

It saves them as something like grab001.tga  so if you take a bunch of
screenies you have to go into the f1c folder and rename them before you
take more screenshots or grab001.tga will be whatever your new shot was, it
overwrites the older pics.

ETCC 2003 - What a great mod

I gotta give full credit on this mod as well!!! Really fun to drive.. I'm
new to the ETCC series, but it looks like a lot of fun from what I've seen
on TV so far..

The graphics are top notch, the car models look great. Contrary to what some
people have said, I find the head tilting/panning thing to be totally
natural after playing for 30 minutes, and I think it adds to the realism.
The view from the***pit is great, and there's a HUGE sense of speed, and
every bump can really be felt..

I've managed to flip a few cars in the S turns at Suzuka though.. I think a
more curb friendly setup might be needed for my driving style. I wish there
were more setups I could load, but the default ones seem good so far, even
though I've only tried them on a few tracks. Of course, tinkering with that
is half the fun..

AI seems agressive as hell, and doing races with the full fields is great..
lots and lots of rubbing and sliding. Dirt everywhere.. cars really take any
opportunity they can to overtake you, which really adds to the pressure of
trying to be fast and holding your line.

Menus look great.. I can't wait to try this over the LAN!

Here's my questions:

Since there are headlights, how can I do a NIGHT race?!?!?

Is there any way I can add AI drivers to a LAN race??

I am in a rush so i cant give your questions the full answer i normally
would...lol

BUT

They have released various NIGHT tracks so far and very nice they are too,so
your headlights will come in very useful

There are already some DAMN decent setups being posted by aliens and very
fast people on the ETCC forum on Racesimcentral.

Ask Dave Henrie where the night tracks and racesimcentral/etcc are and good
luck :)

Headlights will automatically come on during night and rain races. They will
flash only for passing

Let me be clear on the headlights. You can turn them on or off but they will
not remain on. Only during night and rain races where they will be
automatically on

I agree, I have spent a couple of hours with it so far, and rather like the
head panning/tilting.
And the cars are just plain fun to drive, you can knock and rub and just
have a blast.
I'm still though trying to figure out how to turn those windshield wipers on
:).

Headlights and taillights are cool.
