NASCAR track file size question

NASCAR track file size question

I wanted to do a clean up on my hard drive and while doing a check
noticed that my nwenglnd\easy.stg file is like 14 meg!!! as compared to
128 bytes for the same easy.stg file in all of the other tracks.
Is this some sort of file that does a lot for the game, and it happens
to be there, or should it just be a tiny file like all the others?
could I delete it and copy the one from the cd over to that directory?
Something seems pretty weird there, I just thought maybe one of you out
there could check your file to see if its 'normal' like the other track
easy.stg files.  or if it is indeed a HUGE sucker.  If you could, could
you just email me?  I check the email, much more often than the newsreader.

The .stg files should only ever be 128 bytes. I would run scandisk on your
hard drive and check for cross-linked clusters and the like.
