Which is better, IndyCarII or CART?  IndyCarII is only $12.99 at EB and
CART is $19.99 at EB.  What's the difference between the two?  I'm
looking for the most realistic one, kind of like NASCAR2.

Go with CART Racing AKA Indycar Racing 2.

Same company that made Nascar2

Check the box of CART.  I bought one (CART) even though I had ICR2 because
my CART came with a strategy guide.  It's up to you to decide if it's worth
the extra $$.

CART as in "CART Racing" by Papyrus, or "CART Precision Racing"
from Microsoft?  If the latter (see Bruce?<g>), then get both
and make up your own mind - as both have good points and bad.

However, if the CART you refer is "CART Racing" by Papyrus, then
that's the one to go for (instead of its older title of ICR2), as
it contains all the needed patches and updates (except for the
paintkit updates), not to mention a slick book by Steve Smith.

CART by MS (CPR) needs a pretty hot system to run, while ICR2/CART
by Papy will run fine even on a 486 (not great, but fine).  CPR
makes good use of network play, while ICR2/CART only has head-2-
head via modem.  CPR has an extensive setup area, but lacks some
badly needed items.

ICR2/CART has a very basic setup area.  CPR has better graphics,
but if you have a Rendition card, ICR2/CART's 3D version (included
in CART Racing) screams on a P100 with all detail drawn.  CPR's
graphics (if set to max) will chug a bit on a P200MMX.

Cheers!

Marc

The strategy guide is worth the extra bucks.
