  Does anyone know for sure what names go with what
cars sounds?,  this is the best I can figure

fer.wav
   Ferrari

repco.wav
   Brabham

Westlake.wav
   Murasama

Cosworth.wav
   Lotus, Coventry, Eagle

brm.wav
   BRM

You should really pick up CarSound (from GPLEA.org, I think) so you can
assign sounds to each car.  You have to make sure you have a file of the
proper name (you can start by getting the sounds from the GPLEA, as well),
but it does a good job of eliminating the guesswork.

Of course, once you visit the GPLEA, you might as well surrender any hope of
running GPL stock ever again..........
