Just installed GTR, but it starts up, I type in player name, and it crashes
to desktop.

I have tried a reinstall of f1 2002 and GTR, but the same happens.

What is wrong?

System:

AMD Athlon 800, 256mb RAM, Creative GeForce2 GTS, Creative soundcard,
Windows 98SE

Change the decimal separator to . (dot) in Windows. Worked for me.

Thanks! Changed regional settings to English in W98. Now it's working
perfectly.

Right after startup? Gee, I usually make it to at least the first
corner before I crash.
