There are so many excellent add-ons for GP2 that I thought I'd ask for
another.

Is there a program (or would it be possible for one of you clever
people to write one)to extract car setups from hotlaps without going
through all the stages involved in running the hotlap replay in the
game, extracting the performance data and then going to the setup
screen and saving from there.

Dave Gymer wrote a program called HOF2LAP that will output the car setup from
a hotlap.

I've written a program that will read his output and create a setup file.

Hof2lap can be obtained from http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Downs/3987/

My util can be obtained from http://www.zip.com.au/~davidg/GP2/hof2cs.zip
since my site is pretty slow, I'm hoping others will put it on their sites too.

Regards,
David

There's a link (in the "HOF2.5"-section) and much more at

BTW: I would LOVE comments from a SimRacing deputee on my site :-)
