How to get rid of clock smashes>?

I had a clock smash at Monaco
a 5 second lap!
GPL rank won't accept me anymore
how do I get rid of this clock smash?

In seriousness, check your player.ini file and delete the offending
line in your [Monaco] section.
The ini file is in ...\SIERRA\GPL\PLAYERS\YourName\PLAYER.INI

How do you actually get a clock smash, heck, can anyone give me anything
under 5 minutes at Monaco:-)

Go to my webpage, (see url below) and go to the GPL section, then the
GPL tip and tweaks section, or:

Go to the GPL, players, player_name, player.ini file, and edit the
entries, (the times are given in seconds, so a one minute and twelve
second laptime would appear as 72.000 seconds ).

To change your fastest track record (this is the record that is on the
track map page), go to the GPL, tracks, track name, record.ini file, and
edit the entry.

open your player.ini file in notepad or some other editor
and look for a section called

[Monaco]

that should a list of your fastest lap times, just delete the one
with the five seconds in it.
