CART (ICR2) Carset problems

by The Deatherage' » Mon, 25 May 1998 04:00:00

I have downloaded CART carsets from several websites, unzipped them into
a Cars98 folder within the Cars folder and I get the following message:

"The car information could not be initialized"
                                OR
"The car information could not be loaded"

I have tried numerous alternatives with no success. Is there any config
files I need
to change? (FWIW, I'm running the windows version)

Can someone help me on this ?
Thanks  as always, Tim

You can have only onne carset per folder and the folder must have the same
name as the file you downloaded and unzipped

The folder must be the same name as the car.dat file..(for example....cars95
folder contains the cars95.dat.....fedex98 folder contains the fedex98.dat)

Duh........................................................
I guess I had a big brain fade. I should have known that the folder name had
to be
the same. It Works !

Thanks to everyone !
