Created a shortcut to MS-DOS with NR1999.exe, executed soundset.exe, set all options and
it works. The manual on page 15 refers to a "simulation mode". Realistic and Arcade are
the only two options that I can spot. Please explain.
In Race Weekend Type they also mention "instant and full". Basic and testing are the only
two made available. Will someone please clarify?

You need to configure it via SetSound... and the wheel must be calibrate via
the Windows Direct Input Game controller calibration, also (for the Win
mode)...
