I kept reading on this newsgroup that F12002 was worth the time to get into,
so I persevered.  I finally set everything up so I'm really starting to like
it, and the damn thing suddenly it started crashing.

The game runs for two or three laps, then just stops, the sound loops and I
have to hard-boot the machine...
Anyone seen anything like this before? All I tweaked were the force feedback
settings and changed the "super high physics" setting over.  I've changed
both these things back, and finally reinstalled the game, but its still
happening...

Thanks for any help....

P.S. Anyone else's Momo wheel pull to the left in LFS?

Heat? Just guessing since you haven't told us anything
about your system.

No, to the MOMO question.. I think you may need to pick the 1st FF setting in LFS. Also,
get over to http://www.wingmanteam.com/latest_software/latest_soft_xp.htm and grab the
latest software, version 4.20, plus their MOMO tweak util
http://www.wingmanteam.com/files/releases/wm411/patches/MOMOTweak.exe  .
As rrevved said, could be a heat problem locking up the PC.

What about your power saving setup? I had a similar "problem"
with gpl when I had forgotten to turn power management to
"disabled" in the control panel of 98se. 8-P

That sounds like a conflict with the sound card.  When you crash, it plays a
certain sound.  That sound may be on a different 'channel' that something else
is using.  I got the same lockups in ICR2 when I'd crash.  Moving the interrupt
of the sound card fixed the problem...
