Which rally game is the best? With the best I mean most realistic, not
arcade!
Gameplay, graphics, phsycics aso, but simulation and not arcade is a must.

Fifthed (see above). Rally Trophy knocks the others into a***ed hat.
(Not sure why it has to be***ed, but still...)

If it's not***ed, you can't fire it.  Or maybe
I'm thinking of something else...

Make that sixthed.

Remove "hi" from address or it will bounce....

For the love of god, someone has to come up with a mod for rally trophy that
will get rid of the Co-Driver's silly comments!!

Another cool mod for this game would be to replace the cars with the WRC
cars from CMR2.. I love the physics engine in Rally Trophy, I just wish the
cars were the new ones.. That's my only complaint (that, and the co-driver).
but the game is excellent!

Someone already did. rt.relaygames.com

Naaah- why make another clone of something done 500 times over? We need a
WRC sim about like we need another modern F1 or NASCAR sim- I'll stick with
the era when cars were interesting and the drivers were...well, drivers, not
computer operators ;)

Someone did already :0)
Check this link for info on silencing your codriver and/or removing the
onscreen "pacenote" arrows
http://forum.jowood.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2969

Note that BugBear have promised that the official game patch (expected in
the next month or so) will sort out both of these problems, as well as the
"steering bug" and several other issues. Until then, this is most useful.

Hope that helps :0)

Some possible fixes for stuttering in RT (any, none, or all of these may
help!):

1. In the game Configuration screen, select "Low (Compressed)" texture
quality. Whilst you're here, make sure you're using the "Miles Fast 2D
Positional Audio"
2. If you have nvidia hardware, try the 21.83 detonators.
3. Fiddle about with your AGP aperture setting in BIOS.
4. For VIA chipsets, make sure you have the latest and greatest 4-in-1
thingies.

These fixes seem to have solved stuttering problems in 95% of cases on the
jowood message boards. Apparently the official patch will attempt to
increase multiplayer framerates (which are currently much worse than single
player). Still waiting on that patch though.

Good luck!

RT has bad stuttering about 20 secs into a race using the 23.11 drivers on
my system (all other drivers work fine), yet my friend used 23.11 as well as
doesn't have any problems.  Go figure.

Fiddle aimlessly or with some specific settings in mind?

And someday it may even be released in the United States.   =)

Don't really know about that sorry - I'm not that technical I'm just passing
on the things that people said worked.
