First, let me say i am new here. Next, I am about to buy the
thrustmaster T2 wheel and petels. Does anybody have anything good/bad to
say about this wheel?

P.S. is there any problem with it and GP2

Thanks,

Go ahead and contact Thrustmaster support and have them send
you spring and bungee replacements so that you will have them
on hand.  Then when they break, (and if you use it alot, they will)
you won't be down waiting for the replacements in the mail.

The accelerator and brake springs are likely to break, and the pots are
also a little suspect.

However, Thrustmaster have an excellent after sales service, and will
happily ship you some new springs or pots free of charge.

The wheel and pedals handle great, are easy to install/set-up, and with
practice your times will come down  a great deal.
There are no problems to my knowledge with the T2 and GP2. They work
great together.

It seems ridiculous, but without the 'l' on the end, I can't seem to get to
there from here!

But, the following works everytime :)

Hi Shawn,
Nice to talk with someone with the same namesake. Just
replying
to your post on getting replacement parts for your T2 Wheel/Pedals.  Can
you
pass me the tech support phone # and maybe the net address for
thrustmaster?
My wheel is starting to wear out turning to the left(can tell I play N1/N2
alot).

Thanks,

Justin,

What game where you testing in the "beta sit" wile you were usiing the
force feed back.
The software has to be written for force feedback and I dont know of any
sims that have been
released yet that will support it. Will you inform me. Describe the
sensation. Did the wheel
rip out of your hands when nailing a wall or other cars?!  "8>}

REPLY:

Didn't thrustmaster publically state this new wheel wouldn't be out until the
x-mas holiday?
