NR2 - Chevy, Ford, Pontiac = which car chassis is best overall?

re: NASCAR Racing 2

All things considered, which car chassis is considered to be the
"preferred" choice for optimal overall performance/results in NR2?

I get the impression that most people prefer the Chevy chassis since
it seems that most of the car setups I've found state that the Chevy
chassis was used.

I know Papyrus supposedly claims the the Ford to handle better, the
Chevy to have more top speed, and the Pontiac to be somewhat neutral
between the Chevy and Ford... and that the differences are very slight
between the three.

I'm getting ready for a championship season replay... and wondering
which chassis to use.

Suggestions?

The preformance of the cars is pretty much equal.  It's more of a drivers
choice of which car to use.  I tested a chevy at Pocono and ran 167mph laps.
Then I took a pontiac and also ran 167mph laps, so there's not a lot
difference.

It's a personnal preference, and most of us setup tweaker like more a loose
car than a tight one.

Naw...  a Chevy is more loose in the corners, a Ford is more tight, and the
Pontiac is in the middle.  Remember those are tiny difference, of maybe
around 0.2 mph.  Try the 3, just take the one that fits the best your
driving style.  Coming into the corner, middling it, and exiting the corner.
They still have equal aerodynamic force.

There is no "best" chassis, just a "better personal" chassis.  I use a
Chevy, but a Pontiac on road course.

BTW you miss alot by not being on the NROS.  No need for those boring AI
championship season anymore.
