GP2 and NT4.0 ?

by Ronny Holmstr » Mon, 06 Jan 1997 04:00:00

I recently installed win NT4.0 on my machine. Are there anything special I
have to do to make GP2 run on it (apart from configuring the dos-shortcuts
memory- what is optimal?). GP2 starts but I can only see the intro.
Then the screen goes black. Actually it seems like a video-problem?! I have a
Matrox Millennium 2Mb graphics card. I tried the "video:vesa" -option, but
nothing changed? I cant get any sound from my Sound Galaxy Waverider 32 3Dpro
either. The manual says I must select Soundblaster manually and configure
manually. So I did, but no sound :(. Has anyone found the solutions to these
problems?? I would be really greatful if someone could give a hint :)

This is a sound problem, not a video problem. I get it sometimes switching
from native dos and WIN95. In dos, I run setup again for GP2 and get it to
autodetect. Not sure how it work under NT4. Should be consistent.
