The end of QUALIFYING - F1GP

In F1 if you get past the finish line just before the end of Qualifying then
your next lap still counts. I've seen Alesi cross the line with 2 seconds
to go this season and then have 1 more lap. (Monaco)

In F1GP this is not the case, once the time is up you get taken out of qualifying
no matter where you are. With the all the F1 accuracy in the game I am suprised
at this oversight.

I hope this is fixed in the new version because it takes the fun out of sitting
in the pits and then zipping out for a quick final lap and stealing pole.

Also...

When you collide with an opponent , they always come off worse. Recently I was
down to my last race of the season. I needed to win to take the WC and my nearest
rival, Jody Spector , must not score any points. I am in the lead and he is about
3 secs behind me with 3 laps to go. The third place race guy , Martin Grundle,
is 40 sec behind me. What do I do ?

I slow down and let Jody pass, I hang on his tail, and wait for a slow corner.
Then I ram him and shatter is wings (and mine) and he goes off and I just
manage to keep going. I then nurse the car home in first place with Grundle
taking second just a few turns behind me. Jody comes in about 10th.
I win WC.

Great stuff eh ? .. and if you think this is unrealistic just ask Hill what
Schu did to him in Adelaide last year.  :)
