Has anyone got GPL working with a Rendition Intense 3D 100 card?
I click on the GPL icon and a Black window appears then goes away.
tried everything, the app.ini is correct and I'm using the latest
drivers
by Intense. Is this Rendition card not supported?

Thanks, Dennis

I used mine with the Demo ... worked like atreat. I had no problems at all.
Not sure why your doesn't work ... mybe you have to "flush" your BIOS with the
latest version from Integraph.

Mine worked (but I upgraded it to a Hercules Thriller a few weeks
after getting GPL :).  One idea is to see if you have the
latest/proper drivers for the card.  It *will* work and it will be
better than most cards in software mode (but still not super fast).

Mine worked for the demo, but not the full version.  I'm using the
Intergraph Win98 Beta drivers now, though, so that might be my
problem.

There should be no problems at all with the Rendition Intense 3D 100.  The
card Bios should be flashed to version 105, also, use the latest drivers
from Intergraph ... url for both of these is
http://www.intergraph.com/ics/i3d100/

You can also use Renditions Redline drivers  (v1k_b2_1) found at
http://www.rendition.com/usersupport.html

If you continue to have problems,  switch your drivers to vga, reboot to
safe mode, then manually remove the v1000 drivers from your system (check
the v1000.inf for all the files), reboot into Windows, and reinstall the
drivers.

Good Luck,

No.
It can run with the 3D100, but can't be accelerated by it (only with the
Verit2).

(I had 3D100 too)

Sorry, but ... Huh?  What do you mean?  The 3D 100 *is* a 3D accelerator
card.  Accelerated means that the card does some of the processing; Take a
look at the difference between the software rendered game and the rendition
rendered game ....

I had one when the demo first came out, worked fine.  I would highly
suggest going to a v2k rendition card though, or a 3dfx.  I went
to v2k and the difference was amazing, actually playable!!
